By Rosalind Russell – The Canada Post office on Manitoulin Island will set the trend for the upgrades of offices across Canada.
Canada Post has transformed two more post offices into community hubs that will offer additional services to better meet the needs of residents and businesses including the branch in Little Current.
According to the release, the community hub model is intended to provide rural, Indigenous, or northern communities with access to important products and services, so they can better connect with residents and businesses across Canada and around the world including financial services such as an ATMs.
An open house is being held today from 11 am to 2 pm for the public to see the new features and access the new services now available.
