School shooting in British Columbia

By Rosalind Russell – BC Premier David Eby says a mass shooting in the Northern BC community of Tumbler Ridge, that has left ten people dead, is a devastating and unimaginable tragedy.

RCMP say they responded to an active shooter report at the town’s Secondary School yesterday (Tues) and found multiple victims as officers made their way through the school.  An individual believed to be the shooter was also found deceased with what appears to be a self-inflicted injury.

Police say 25 people at the school sustained non-life-threatening injuries — while two other victims were found dead inside a home they believe is connected to the incident.

The investigation continues.
