By Rosalind Russell – If you love your Smile Cookie, then this week is for you with the 2025 Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign getting underway this morning.
Tim Hortons franchises across the country will welcome volunteers today to ice up the cookies in the trademark while holiday smiles.
If you, your office, or family wants to pre-order a batch, give your local franchise a call and they will have them ready for you.
The campaign runs until Friday with all the funds raised staying in their respective communities to support various local charities.
Locally, in Espanola and McKerrow, the funds will go to the Espanola Hospital Foundation as they official kick off for the Moose 99.3 FM CJJM Christmas Radiothon.
In Little Current, the Lions Club will be this year’s recipient.
The Lions Club in Elliot Lake will also receive 50% of the proceeds with the other half being designated to a local charity.
Blind River’s two locations will be donating the Blind River Public Library.
And in Sudbury, most of the funds are going to the Children’s Society which provides supports across the North Shore Corridor and Manitoulin Island. (CASDSM has partnered with most stores in the Greater Sudbury area. According to the Tim Hortons website, two stores at Health Sciences North are supporting the HSN Foundation, and one store on Notre Dame is backing the Sudbury Food Bank.)
