Spanish River Snowmobile Club focus of television documentary

By Rosalind Russell – The beauty of the North Shore and the excellent snowmobile trails will be the focus of a national television show focusing on the top snowmobile club in Ontario.

Last weekend, the Spanish River Snowmobile Club hosted the cast and crew from Snowtrax television taking them on a ride through a section of the North Shore loop of District 13 and the D trail at the Serpent River Bridge.

The club is this year’s winner of Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs’ top award acknowledging its volunteers who created stop areas, off-loading locations and installing stop zones along its trails over the last couple of years.

The episode is expected to be broadcast in the 2023-2024 season.
