By Rosalind Russell – Lynn Halliday, who just retired after a long career as a pharmacist in Espanola, is focusing her retirement on writing books and travelling adventures.
To that end, she has just completed her fifth children’s book, which is a full-length novel focusing on a donkey and his 12-year-old tween, a girl who has many fears and finally overcomes them.
Halliday says there are some 40 chapters of adventures in the book called ‘Disaster! Around the Bend!’, that teaches young readers how to overcome strife and fearful situations.
Halliday will be hosting a book reveal and signing at Robinson’s Pharmasave this Thursday from 10 am to two pm.
