Wheels of Hope needs drivers

By Rosalind Russell – The Canadian Cancer Society needs drivers for its Wheels of Hope program.
Society spokesperson, Mark Kahan, says the society offers free driving services for those who have to travel for treatment, but they need drivers including the Espanola, North Shore and Manitoulin Island.
He says the drivers must have their own car but are fully compensated for their mileage.
Kahan adds those who wish to join the program, must have a valid driver’s license, a criminal check and be available during the week for at least a six-month period.
