Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service Launches Online Community Reporting System

By Rosalind Russell – The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service has launched a new online community reporting system designed to enhance public safety and strengthen community relations.
Police Chief Ron Gignac says the platform will enable residents to report non-emergency incidents directly to the police through an online portal.
He says the system provides community members with a convenient way to share information about non-emergent crimes or suspicious activities that should be brought to the attention of law enforcement adding it is a part of the force’s larger community safety strategy.
Gignac says the service is committed to leveraging technology in ways that enhance service delivery and strengthen their connection with the community.
