Worst roads are all down south

By Rosalind Russell – The Worst Roads list for Ontario is out from CAA and all of the top 10 are in Southern Ontario – with Hamiton’s Aberdeen Avenue deemed the worst.
Premier Road in North Bay is third on the northern list with three streets in Sudbury and one in Sault Ste. Marie compiling the regional top five.
In addition to raising awareness of roads most needing maintenance work, CAA public opinion research (conducted online in January 2025), also revealed that 85% of Ontarians agreed short-term inconvenience is worth it to realize the long-term improvements needed.
Northern: Top 5 includes Algoma, Cochrane, Kenora, Manitoulin, Nipissing, Parry Sound District and more.
