
By Rosalind Russell – The Algoma District Services Administration Board is now accepting applications for newly constructed row housing in Blind River (located at 84 Indiana).
According to the release, the new housing has been designed specifically for independent seniors aged 60 and over. and includes a mix of affordable and market units with barrier free options designed to support accessibility needs.
The new units will be available June 1st, and since it is a newly constructed property, there is no existing waiting list so successful applicants will be entered in a random selection draw.
Then, the eligible applicants selected through the draw will be offered available units, and the remaining applicants will be placed on a waitlist in the order drawn.
The completed applications must be received by Friday, May 8.
