By Rosalind Russell – Two students from a Blind River school led their peers in what is being called the Great Big Gulp awareness event as part of an Eco-Schools Canada initiative.
Shea and Kian, two students from École Saint-Joseph in Blind River led the event.
Both students took the opportunity to raise awareness in the school community about the importance of reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles and preserving drinking water in an effort to make conscious environmental choices.
