By Rosalind Russell – An Espanola business is taking part in a fundraising campaign for Easter Seals.
Easter Seals Program Manager for the local area, Carmen Bazinet, says the annual #UnstoppABLE® campaign (formerly the Paper Egg Campaign) is one of Easter Seals’ signature national fundraising and awareness initiatives.
She says as part of their “March is Easter Seals Month” celebrations, the #UnstoppABLE® Campaign raises funds across Ontario for children and youth living with disabilities.
She says this year, the Giant Tiger in Espanola, is once again participating in the campaign, which starts today and runs until April 5, adding in the past two years, the store raised $3,080 in support of children with physical disabilities in the local area.
Giant Tiger customers will be invited to purchase a paper egg icon for $2 in support of Easter Seals Kids, write their names on it and have it on display at the store.
