By Rosalind Russell – There will be plenty of purple to be seen on Saturday at the Espanola Mall.
The Espanola Elks are hosting their 49th Annual Christmas Hamper Fund Drive to raise funds to feed an average of 150 families and individuals in the local area.
Chair, Gary Tennant, says anyone wishing to donate to the cause are asked to drop by at the inside entrance to FreshCo from 10 am to 3 pm tomorrow morning.
The funds raised go to filling up hampers with everything a person or family may need for a complete Christmas Dinner,
The Elks has partnered with Moose 99.3 FM CJJM Espanola once again in support of the initiative.
Hampers will be delivered on December 20th, just in time for the holidays.
