By Rosalind Russell – ‘Play it Forward Musical Entertainment and Comedy,’ organizer Kay Theaker is hosting a fundraiser for the men and women’s shelters in Elliot Lake early next month.
She says there is plenty of local talent taking part including notables (such as Perry Tucker, Thor Bonfig, Micheal Lachance, Nikki DeBlase, Micheal Lachance, Moyralyn Stephens, Katherine McGuiness, Heart Strings and Vivian White.)
She adds the evening will include the Wrinkle City Band, who are donating their talents to the cause being held on February 6th, at the Collins Hall.
Theaker says all the proceeds will go towards supporting Maplegate House and Larry’s Place and their mandate in providing shelter and a safe place for those in crisis.
