Massey bridge undergoes repairs

By Rosalind Russell – Motorists travelling into Sagamok-Anishinabek First Nation or to Lee Valley Road can expect some minor delays with rehabilitation work underway on the bridge connecting the two to the Town of Massey.

According to the Ministry of Transportation work on the bridge was to be begin last year, but finalizing the contract was delayed.

A traffic light has been installed on the bridge to allow for an ease in travelling for motorists.

The work on the bridge itself is expected to be done by late fall.
