By Rosalind Russell – Premier Doug Ford has invited Canada’s premiers to join the Council of the Federation summer meeting this July in Ontario’s Cottage Country.
Ford says premiers are seizing the momentum coming out of the recent First Ministers’ Meeting in Saskatoon… to move projects that will unleash Canada’s economy going forward.
The province says the Huntsville meeting, taking place over the July 21st weekend, comes at a critical time for Canada and will be an opportunity to discuss not only nation-building projects, but also how to navigate Canada-US relations, and make our communities safer.
While in Muskoka, officials say premiers will also meet with leaders of National Indigenous Organizations to have discussions on economic reconciliation and development and more.
