By Rosalind Russell – The fall time change takes place this weekend.
Most digital clock systems will automatically turn back the clock by an hour at two a.m. on Sunday, November 1.
However, analog systems will have to fall back manually.
The purpose of the change is to shift daylight to the morning hours during the winter months, so sunrise occurs earlier and there is more light in the morning, while evenings become darker sooner.
