By Rosalind Russell – Two Manitoulin Island schools will be well represented at the provincial robotics competitions this coming weekend.
The Wiikwemkoong High School and Manitoulin Secondary School robotics teams came out on top at the McMaster University district FIRST Robotics championship, which means they will travel to the provincials this weekend.
The Manitoulin Secondary School Manitoulin Metal 6865 robotics team won the Engineering Inspiration Award at its second robotics competition of the year, held last week at McMaster University in Hamilton.
The Wiikwemkoong High School #5672 Robotics team won the Design Imagery Award at the same competition.
Both teams are heading to the provincials in Mississauga this weekend.
